Biography

David has worked in Payroll for nearly 40 years (over 30 years in leadership roles).

 

He was Head of Payroll in the NHS in roles covering Glasgow, Forth Valley, Highlands and the North East of England, and spent some time seconded to the Scottish Government as Head of NHS Pay Policy.

 

After 23 years in the public sector he moved into the private sector, spending 5 years as Head of Payroll for Diageo before moving to Morgan Stanley where he was EMEA Head of Payroll for 10 years. Since 2022 David has been Global Head of Payroll for NatWest.

 

David's key areas of interests include global payroll transformation, improving the colleague experience and people development.
