Brian Sparling
Senior Manager, Global Operations, Ceridian

Brian has over 20 years’ experience in payroll, working with employers including Bosch, National Galleries of Scotland, BSkyB, TSB Bank, and is now Payroll Delivery Manager with Ceridian based in the UK. Brian has worked with HMRC for many years as part of TDSF and a committee member of IReeN.

In 2019, Brian achieved chartered membership of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) by demonstrating his continuous commitment to compliance and best practice in payroll, pensions and reward.
In 2020, he was recognised in Reward Strategy’s “Reward 300” index of leading lights across the profession. 


Dommy Szymanska
Global Head of Total Reward, Stella McCartney

Experienced Global Head of Pay & Reward with a demonstrated history of working in various Global industries. Skilled in a number of Payroll and HR systems, Pay and Reward Analytics, Benchmarking, Total Reward, Executive Compensation, People Management, and Report Writing. Strong operations professional with process improvement focus. Data-driven mind-set, advanced user of the entire Microsoft Office Suite and an efficient communicator. Excellent organisational skills, with high attention to detail.


Wendy Muirhead
Managing Director and Regional Leader, Ceridian

 

Wendy is responsible and accountable for the commercial and strategic growth of Ceridian Europe. Having spent most of her career working with organisations undertaking Global HCM and payroll transformation, she has a wealth of industry experience.

Samantha O'Sullivan

Policy Lead, CIPP

 

Sam is a self-confessed payroll enthusiast who is passionate about everything related to payroll. Sam has worked as a payroll manager in both an in-house and a bureau environment and has 14 years’ worth of payroll experience. Directly before joining the CIPP, Sam worked as an employment tax advisor at Croner-i.

 


Sam completed the CIPP Foundation Degree in Payroll Management in 2015, and also received the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Certificate in Human Resource Management in 2016.
