1. What is the most significant change you have seen in your role within the last year? 

 

A: It's a great focus on employee benefits, both because the employer value proposition has become an increasingly important topic of discussion, but also as employers in general look more broadly at their total reward offering over and above pay.

2. What do you see being the biggest challenge for the rest of 2023 as a reward professional?

 

A: Finding new and innovative ways to give employees something that they value in the context of the cost of living crisis.

3. What advice would you give those entering the reward profession?

 

A: Try and get a broad range of experience, make sure you get to understand all parts of Reward and what is happening in different businesses to understand context.

 

4. Without giving away too much, what two things will delegates learn from your session?

 

A: More about how employees perceive benefits and their value, and what levers you can pull with non-monetary rewards.
