Jason Davenport has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP).
Davenport, who will leave his Chief Operating Officer post at Capita HRS Division, will succeed Ken Pullar, who is retiring after seven years at the CIPP, from July 2023.
Davenport founded the payroll consultancy firm Calendar Consulting Ltd, which provides support to clients with their payroll performance and strategy and also held the position of Chair of the CIPP Board of Directors between 2019-2021 and served as a non-executive director with the Institute for several years.

The CIPP said in a statement: "We’re delighted to announce that Jason Davenport will be joining us as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding Jason, has over 25 years of industry experience and has spent the majority of his career in the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry, including managing the northern HR services division during his time at CMG (now CGI)."
Davenport said: “As I have since my first appointment at the CIPP, I’ll continue to champion the incredible work of our team and members, and I look forward to sharing their successes when I start my new role in July.”
